Scientist turned Landscape Architect turned Artist

 
 

I'm a Digital Artist and Level Designer with an affinity to darkness and the obscure, investigating unexpected or unwanted emotional experiences through my practice. With a background in Landscape Architecture and Biology, most of my work (private and professional) engages in a discussion about nature and how we see ourselves within it.

Currently, Iā€™m a Gameplay Designer at Respawn Entertainment, designing and implementing environmental collision for several levels of the upcoming Star Wars Jedi: Survivor game. As a professional artist I've worked on projects in the entertainment and corporate sector including concept design for games, visual effects for fashion campaigns and music videos, as well as motion graphics and graphic design for ads and corporate branding.

My interest in a cultural understanding of nature also prompted me to co-found UNToLD, a research and design collaborative that brings landscape architectural thinking and methods to fields beyond the discipline and vice versa. As a firm, we have toured different schools with lectures and workshops that introduce workflows from film, game design, and music production to landscape architecture practice.
